Ridgecrest Dairy's legendary cheese-master, Dave
Verdonk, was born and raised on a local Fraser Valley,
B.C. dairy farm and opportunely whilst growing up on a
farm there was never a lack of things for Dave to do.
This creative energy and
young start has led and established Dave as a leader in
the dairy manufacture industry. There has always
been a keen interest in the manufacture of milk and milk by
products at Ridgecrest Dairies, which has shown the way to
the processing of pasteurized whole milk, Keifer, frozen yogurts,
Blue Cheese and Gouda.
Additionally, having been
invited to learn from the expert Panir makers of India. Ridgecrest
Dairies Ltd. has not looked back and has
been a prominent supplier of Panir Cheese to the Lower Mainland since
1986.
Ridgecrest Dairy has
been working to an extensive degree with Panir for the last ten years
and has come to respect the durability, versatility, and
potential of Panir to become a mainstream staple of North
