Our Story

In 1986 Ridgecrest dairies was founded by the Verdonk family on their independently owned and operated dairy farm in sumas prairie. A desire to create local dairy products made with the milk produced by their own livestock was the beginning of a generational endeavor. By 1993 the demand for these products had outpaced the production capabilities of the small factory. In 1994 the decision was made to expand the operations to meet the growing demand, and our current location was established.

Ridgecrest Dairies specializes in specialties cheeses, with an emphasis on the south Asian market. Our facility currently produces paneer , ghee and plain yogurt, catering to restaurants, sweet shops and grocery stores specializing in South Asian cuisine and sweets.
